Learn with Dani Watson, award-winning photographer and educator.

CapturEDU is a women-led photography school. Founder Dani Watson teaches most workshops, lessons and mentoring programs herself, with guest photographers joining selected sessions. She holds a Master of Arts in Photography from RMIT, is a member of the AIPP and RPS, and is a Hasselblad Masters finalist.

Our educators at a glance

CapturEDU was founded and is led by Dani Watson, an award-winning Australian landscape and aerial photographer and educator. She holds a Master of Arts in Photography from RMIT University, is a member of the AIPP and the RPS, and is a Hasselblad Masters Finalist.

Dani has more than 50 hours of flight time photographing Kati Thanda–Lake Eyre and directs IRID Gallery, a fine art photography gallery representing contemporary Australian photographers. Guest photographers join selected workshops. Every session is taught the way Dani learned: on location, in real light, with honest feedback.
